You might look through our photos and see a young, smiley couple, the wintery dusting of snow and some pine trees.
But I see the smiles that came from inside jokes, funny things our kid or dogs do, our dreams that only we talk to each other about.
I see the struggles, long distance, what felt like endless years of school and debt.
I see the places we’ve gone, the places we want to go, the tiny house we call our home.
I see the story, the magic, the pieces that create the heart of our marriage.
And this is why I believe in anniversary sessions. Because every day our story changes and each year those changes are reflected in our photographs. I treasure these photos now more than our wedding photos because I love him and our life now more than I did then.
