As I gear up for the 2024 wedding season, I can’t help but reflect on some of last year’s incredible celebrations. Nichelle and Brandon’s wedding was the perfect backyard celebrating to kick off spring celebrations.

N & B’s wedding day started out with the girls getting ready at a gorgeous family camp. As they opted for an early first look and portraits to follow, the whole day unfolded in such a relaxing way as we did not need to travel very far. They chose to do things a little differently and hosted close family and friends for a meal prior to the ceremony. N & B got married at golden hour surrounded by their loved ones, and a reception followed.

Something I love about backyard weddings is how intimate and relaxing they become. There is something so magical about being in your own space surrounded by those you love the most, marrying your person.
